It may not be surprising if Sara Watson from the University of Central Lancashire had trouble finding her car in the parking lot (or car park, as they say in the UK) after creating this project. She spray painted an old Skoda Fabia to match the pavement and background as part of an art project for her drawing and image making course.

His story is really quite amazing - during a stopover in the country, he never got back on the plane. He instead roamed the streets performing magic to everyone he met and tried to get into the magic circles of Tokyo.

Similar to an illusion posted before, this trick is more in your eyes than in your mind. The rods and cones in the back of your retina take time to adjust after you release focus off the dot. Once they adjust, the proper signal is sent to your brain to tell you that, "Hey! This ain't colored!"

Motion Induced Blindness

Steady fixation is a term used in optics when the eyes are fixed on a point with no blinking or movements. In motion induced blindness, steady fixation causes disappearance of the yellow dots in the video below. When you blink or shift your gaze even the slightest bit, the dots will reappear.

Cool Card Trick - The Second Deal

In many magic tricks, there will come a need for the ability to control the top card of a deck. The Second Deal is one way that will afford a solution for such control provided you have the right type of deck. Bicycle decks are not favourable, but may still pass undetected to the untrained spectator.

This is one common technique that's good for beginners but still useful for all levels of practicing magicians - The Hindu Shuffle. The Hindu Shuffle is great for retaining the bottom card(s).
